Actor Jay Chaffin, 24, cited the 1998 movie Rounders, which
starred Matt Damon as a hotshot poker player, as a catalyst
for poker's newfound hipness.
"The movie helped a lot," he said. "I see
a lot of people in their 20s playing. A lot of young people
are getting into it because of the glitz and glitter."
